For one reason or another, these stories mean the most to me.
This began as an attempt to understand how and why a team of medics from the poorest part of London could make a journey to a South African mission in 1962. Probably my longest work to date. It certainly took the longest!!

The original plan for this was a few one-shots, but it took on a mind of its own, and soon I was in a full-blown, eighteen chapter character study.

The Tale of the Guard’s Armour, or Patrick Tells a Story
Bedtime at the Turner’s, and Angela asks for Patrick’s “Misty Road” story.
This fic is set at the end of Series 4 Episode 5. Patrick has begun his recovery from his near-breakdown, and Shelagh has found resources within she hadn’t known existed.
I’m going to give this a Three Kettle rating, primarily because of the story’s setting (a bath), However, I think the kettles better reflect a level of intimacy rather than steam, which I think is actually kind of hot.
